It is shown that tetraalkyl methylenediphosphonates, dialkyl N,N- dialkylcarbamylphosphonates, and dialkyl N,N-dialkylcarbamylmethylenephosphonates are powerful, chelating extractants for Ce, Pm, and Am from solutions of HNO/sub 3/. (auth)
