IMPULSE APPROXIMATION AND DISTORTED WAVES

An expression for the amplitude of a nucleon-nucleus inelastic scattering at high energies was derived. This expression eliminated troublesome terms that involve the mixing of the two-body interaction and the distorting potential. (C.E.S.)
