REGGE POLES AND FIRE BALLS

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4722987

The behavior of the amplitude of inelastic processes is calculated assuming the existence of Regge poles. The asymptotic behavior of the cross section for the emission of n particles is shown to be sigma /sub n/ approximately Cn/(log (s/s/sub o/)!. The two center emission of particles is found to give the largest contribution in the asymptotic region. (auth)
