STUDIES ON THE CARRIER-FREE SEPARATION OF PRASEODYMIUM-144 FROM CESIUM OXIDE (in Chinese)

Four methods for separating carrier-free Pri/sup 144/ from Ce/sup 144/- Pr/sup 144/ are described. The separations were carried out by converting the rare earth activities to oxides in the presence of Ce as a carrier. Then Pr/sup 144/ was separated as carrier-free by HCl in various concentrations. The results showed that the cerium oxide mixed with asbestos and loaded in the cqlumn was capable of supplying satisfactorily pure Pr/sup 144/. (OID)
