THE /cap beta/-BRANCH FROM Tl$sup 207$ TO THE p$sub 3$ over $sub 2$-LEVEL IN Pb$sup 20$$sup 7$

Journal Article · · Phys. Letters
To establish a materials at -branch to the 894-kev level in Pb/sup 207/ by measuring the depopulating ray, Tl/sup 207/ must be separated radiochemically from Pb/sup 211/, which emits strong rays in the same energy region. Two different radiochemical procedures were employed. From the two independent measurements, a mean value of 0.155 surface proces 0.020% was obtained, in close agreement with a previous calculation. The corresponding iog f/sub 0/t is 6.47 surface proces 0.06. (C.E.S.)
