SOME DATA ON THE ROTATIONAL MAGNETO-MECHANIC EFFECT IN A LOW-PRESSURE PLASMA (in Russian)

The rotational magneto-mechanic effect in a low pressure plasma previously discovered is studied quantitatively. The dependence of the angular momentum in the plasma on the magnetic field strength, pressure and nature of gas and magnitude of current flowing through the plasma are determined. The rotational magneto-mechanical effect has also been detected in the plasma of inert gas produced by a high frequency field. (auth)
