DETERMINATION OF CHROMIUM, COBALT, IRON, AND NICKEL IN ALLOYS

A procedure is given for the separation of Cr, Co, Fe, and Ni by utilizing anion exchange with HCl as an eluant. Quantitative determinations of the elements are made by standard methods. The procedure proved to be reliable and quantitative and may be used in conjunction with most alloys containing all or part of the elements. (P.C.H.)
