AN INVESTIGATION OF THE CRACK-PROPAGATION RESISTANCE OF HIGH-STRENGTH ALLOYS AND HEAT-RESISTANT ALLOYS. Bimonthly Progress Report No. 9, April 23, 1962-June 23, 1962

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4713621
The tensile properties and crack-propagation properties of 0.050 in.- thick D-14 Nb-alloy sheet were determined at --300 to 1200 deg F. No brittle- ductile transition wa found at temperatures down to --300 deg F. Very slight evidence of strnin aging manifested by increased strength properties and serrated plastic stress-strain- curves, was noted rt 600 and 1100 deg F. (auth)
