ON HELICITY AMPLITUDES

A method of helicity amplitudes developed by Wick and Jacobi becomes quite elementary if formulated in the relativistic velocity space with Lobachevsky's metric. In this space the relativistic properties of the helicity amplitudes are rather simple. As an example the transformation of the spin amplitudes from one channel of the binary reaction to the other (the crossing transformation employed in quantum field theory) is considered. (auth)
