THE ISPRA-2 REACTOR (in Italian)

A description is given of the Ispra-2 reactor, sited at the Nuclear Studies Center of Casaccia, near Rome and owned by CNEN (the Italian Atomic Energy Commission). The Ispra-2 is a swimming-pool reactor having a maximum power level of 100 kw, and it is exclusively used for measurement of neutron spectra and of resonance integrals with the oscillation or activation method and for reactivity measurements.
