"THINC." A THERMAL HYDRODYNAMIC INTERACTION CODE FOR A SEMI-OPEN OR CLOSED CHANNEL CORE

A steady-state thermal hydraulic interaction code THINC was programed in FORTRAN for the IBM-7090 digital computer in order to calculate the density, velocity, and pressure distribution in a semi-open or closed channel core. The effects of boiling on the axial and transverse flow are included within the limitations of current engineering correlations. The spatial distribution of heat generation is required as input.
