MIST, a set of codes designed to solve the one-dimensional Boltzmann transport equation in slab geometry for up to six energy groups, 250 space points and 46 regions, is described. The MIST program uses the S/sub n/ approximation to the Boltzmann equation, but is rapidly convergent for all one-dimensional reactor systems. Theory, input, and output are discussed; and the FORTRAN listing is included along with sample input and output listings. (auth)
