THE ISOTOPE LABORATORY AT THE TSING HUA UNIVERSITY

In connection with the construction of a 10Mw nuclear reactor, completed in November 1960 at the National Tsing Hua University, an isotope laboratory is established. The laboratory consists of the following four divisions: a radioisotope production laboratory; a hot cell; a waste disposal laboratory; and a research laboratory for radiation chemistry. The design and function of each laboratory is described. (JAIF)
