ELECTROMAGNETIC EJECTION OF A SPHERICAL BODY FROM A CONDUCTING FLUID (in Russian)

Equations and calculations are used in a detailed analysis of the ejecting force acting upon a spherical body placed in a homogeneous incompressible liquid. Measurements were carried out using an installation consisting of a Cshaped magnet with 25-cm pole diameter and 10-cm gap. The intensity of the field varied from 2000 to 5000 gauss. (R.V.J.)
