DETERMINATION OF SPIN OF SOME LIGHT HYPERFRAGMENTS (cap lambdaH$sup 3$-cap lambdaH$sup 4$-cap lambdaLi$sup 8$) (in French)

As the proportions of different modes of mesic decay of a light hyperfragment is a function of the spin of the hyperfragment, their spin can be determined from the determination of the ratio of these different modes. For LAMBDA H/sup 3/, the ratio R/sub 3/ was calculated and a value R/sub 3/ = 0.41 e due to uraniu 0.08 was obtained; J = 1/2. For LAMBDA H/sup 4/, J = 0 and R/sub 4/ = 0.76 e due to uraniu 0.10. A comparison of the experimental and theoretical results for LAMBDA Li/sup 8/ shows J = 1/sup -/, which confirms the predictions of Dalitz. (J.S.R.)
