DISTORTED WAVE ANALYSIS OF DEUTERON INDUCED REACTIONS IN O$sup 1$$sup 8$

The distorted-wave Born approximation is used to analyze the reactions O/ sup 18/(d,t)O/sup 17/ and O/sup 18/(d,p)O/sup 19/. Assig nments of L values obtained from Butler theory are confirmed, fractional parentage coefficients are extracted, and the wave function of the ground state of O/sup 18/ is estimated. (auth)
