Journal Article · · Nuclear Physics (Netherlands) Divided into Nucl. Phys. A and Nucl. Phys. B
Thermal neutron activation cross sections were measured for the following cases. Hg/sup 196/(n gamma )Hg/sup 197m/, Hg/sup 196/(n gamma )Hg/su p 197/ Pt/sup 194/(n, gamma )Pt/sup 195m/, Pt/sup 192/(n, gamma )Pt/sup 193m/, Os/ sup 190/ (n, gg)Os/sup 191m/, Os/sup 190/(n gamma ) Os/sup 191/, Er/sup 170/(n gamma )Er/sup 171/, Pd/sup 110/(n gamma )Pd/sup 111m/ Gd/su p 158/(n gamma )Gd/ sup 159/, Gd/sup 160/ (n, gamma )Gd/sup 161/, Ba/sup 134/ (n, gamma )Ba/sup 135m/ , Ba/sup 132/(n, gamma )Ba/sup 13 3m/m, Sn/sup 122/(n, gamma )Sn/sup 123/, and Sn/ sup 124/(n, gamma )Sn/sup 125/. Using the spin distribution form due to Bethe and Block theoretically calculated isomeric ratios were compared with experimentally measured values. (auth)
