A model discussed by K. Meyer and E. Griepentrog for the burn-up in a cylindrical reactor with continuous fuel element flow-through from the exterior to the interior was extensively expanded so that in place of the velocity profiling, constant flow-through velocity was assumed. In the framework of this model, the dependence of the burn-up and flux distribution on the height was calculated. (tr-auth)
