THE SNG-TAC CODE FOR THE PHILCO-2000 COMPUTER

A description of the SNG method for the solution of the stationary transport equation in spherical geometry is given. The numerical process is outlined, and the SNGTAC code prepared for the Philco Transac S-2000 computer in TAC mnemonic language is described. The SNG-TAC code was used for the calculation of several experimental critical assemblies. These calculations were compared with previous SNG calculations performed on an IBM 704 computer and with DSN calculations on the Philco2000. (auth)
