Measurements of polyethyleneterphthalate dielectric properties in a 2000 r/min x-ray field showed that the conductance and the tangent of the angle of dielectric loss increase at low frequencies (20 to 10/sup 3/ Hz). An increase in temperature inhibits the growth of sigma and tg sigma is reduced. Dielectric parameter variations depend on the degree of crystallinity. The observed effects are of a reversible character. (tr-auth)
