>Solubility of silver bromide was studied in 1 x 10/sup -6/ to 4.0M sodium bromide solution and in 1.0 to 4.0M lithium and potassium solution, and silver iodides in 1 x 10/sup -4/ to 2.5M sodium iodide and 1.0 to 2.5M lithium and potassium iodides. It was found that the influence of alkali metal cations on silver bromide and iodide solubility is within the frame influence of direct cation series. The behavior of silver halide is quite similar to the behavior of monovalent thallium solutions containing similar anions, however, silver halides have a lower solubility and a greater tendency to complexing.
