Topics covered include: automation of x-ray diffraction unit for preferred orientation studies, NaK encapsulating facility, anisotropic growth vs preferred orientation in unrestrained uranium, residual textures in BETA - treated uranium, axial textures in As-extruded uranium tubes, irradiation growth in alpha -uranium single crystals, and texture induced during BETA treatment of uranium.
