PULSE GENERATOR WITH STATISTICAL OR LINEAR TIME DISTRIBUTION OF THE NUMBER OF PULSES (in Czech)

Journal Article · · Jaderna Energie
OSTI ID:4700582
Pulse generators are often used instead of radiation detectors in nuclear technology for the control and calibration of instruments, such as pulse rntegrators. The generator must be able to imitate completely the pulse rise of the individual detectors. Such an instrument was successfully developed on the basis of the specifications developed. The pulses generated cover the range from 0 to 50 v; their duration can be varied in 6 steps from 3.2 to 20 microseconds. Under usual conditions, 8 to 5000 pulses/minute can be generated; this may be reduced to 2 per minute by using an external capacitor. The instrument is able to repeat 5 preset frequencies with am accuracy of plus or minus 2.5%. For the statistical time distribution, the number of pulses may be varied from a few to 200,000 per minute. Details of the diagram included are given. (TTT)
