A SURVEY OF THE DETECTORS DEVELOPED IN THE REACTOR ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT OF THE INSTITUTE OF NUCLEAR RESEARCH IN SWIERK

Some types of radiation detectors developed for reactor control system and reactor physics experiments are described. They include: neutron sensitive ionization chambers/gamma-compensated and without compensation/, pulse fission chambers, miniature fission chambers and gamma sensitive ionization chambers for neutron flux and gamma distribution measurements, and a 4 ceramic materia gamma ionization chamber for relative neutron flux distribution measurement by means of activation method. Information on the construction, characteristics, and main parameters of the detectors is given. (auth)
