The equations of motion of various classical relativistic theories are considered and compared with the (Lorentz) covariant oneparticle quantum equations. A remarkable formal analogy is found in the case of a free particle. The various classical theories correspond to different aspects of the actual quantum equations of motion if an external field is present.
