Studies were made on the effects of x radiation on the number of blood cells in the silkworm larvae on the 2nd day of the 5th instar. The number of blood cells was found to decrease distinctly. However, the decrease in the number of blood cells has no relation with the sexual difference of the larvae. (P.C.H.)
