COMPTON SCATTERING OF 662 kev GAMMA RAYS FROM IRON

The differential Compton scattering cross sections of 662-kev gamma rays, for iron at angles ranging from 20 to 90 deg were measured, using a constant efficiency dedector of gamma rays. The values agree with those calculated from the Wein-Nishina formula. (auth)
