EFFECT OF THE HYPERFINE STRUCTURE OF THE MESIC ATOM ON THE CAPTURE OF $mu$ MESONS BY LITHIUM-6 (in French)

By use of an effective capture Hamiltonian of the (V-A) type with renormalization'' and velocity'' terms, the probabilities for the capture of the /sup -/ meson in the two hyperfine states of the mesic atom Li/sup 6/- could be calculated when the final state is the ground level of He/sup 6/. It was shown that the measurement of the rate of capture can yield important information on the form of interaction, particularly on the existence of the pseudoscalar term. (tr-auth)
