g-FACTOR MEASUREMENT ON THE FIRST EXCITED STATE OF Fe$sup 56$ USING INTERNAL MAGNETIC FIELDS

Journal Article · · Nuclear Physics (Netherlands) Divided into Nucl. Phys. A and Nucl. Phys. B
The g-factor of the 0.845 Mev (2/sup +/) level of Fe/sup 56/ was measured by observing the rotation of the - angular correlation of the 4/ sup +/-2/sup +/-0/sup +/ cascade due to internal magnetic fields in iron. The result is g = 0.58 surface proces 0.17. (auth)
