SCATTERING OF POSITRONS BY ATOMIC HYDROGEN

Cross sections for elastic scattering from the ground state, excitation to the 2S state, and excitation to the 2p state were calculated for positrons incident on atomic hydrogen at momenta from K = 0.9 to 2.0. Partial cross sections for total orbital momentum equal to 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4; taking into account the strong coupling between the 1s, 2s, and 2p states; were obtained. (C.E.S.)
