TWILIGHT LITHIUM IN THE UPPER ATMOSPHERE. HIGH ABUNDANCE OF TWILIGHT LITHIUM, NOVEMBER 1962
A large enhancement in upper-atmosphere Li abundance observed at twilight with a birefringent phorometer at Saskatoon, Canada (52 un. Concent 85% N) during November 1962 closely resembled conditions observed during August 1958. It is concluded that both events were caused by intermediateyield thermonuclear explosions at a height near 60 km. (C.H.)
