The sterility of ovules in mature pods of mustard, Brassica juncea, a self-fertilizing oilseed plant, was found to be increased by doses of 50,000 and 100,000 r x radiation. No significant differences was observed in the rate of sterility preduced by the two doses. (C.H.)
