A STUDY OF SORPTION OF ZIRCONYL PHOSPHATE AND CHANGES OF ITS PROPERTIES AT HIGHER TEMPERATURES

from phosphate anion on an anion exchanger was developed for the analysis of zirconyl phosphate. The ratios P/Zr in zirconyl phosphates prepared under different conditions of precipitation were determined. The sorption of some 1 to 4 valent cations was investigated on different types of zirconyl phosphates heated to various temperatures. By measuring the infrared absorption spectra, the condensation of acid phosphate groups was demonstrated. (auth)
