PROTECTION OF THE SKIN AGAINST X-RAYS WITH DELIAL

The effect of Delial on erythema of 10 patients of age between 20 and 30 years after single x irradiations of 1000 r and fractionated irradiations of 10 times 200 r daily is studied. For 7 of 10 patients, apparation of erythema was delayed on the average for 10 days. It is concluded that Delial gives no protection against erythema. (Gmelin Inst.)
