BASIC THEORY AND APPLICATION OF REGGE POLES

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4684589
A development of the basic theory of Regge poles is given. The goal is to give a self-contained discussion that can be easily read without prior background knowledge of the subject. Emphasis is on physical ideas and experimental consequences rather than on rigor. The attempt is made to state explicitly the underlying assumptions behind the Regge pole hypothesis. 28 references.
