SHIELDING AGAINST RADIATION ORIGINATING FROM THE KEMA SUSPENSION TEST REACTOR (KSTR). PART I (in Dutch)

Journal Article · · Atoomenergie Haar Toepassingen
OSTI ID:4684546
In a discussion of radiation shielding of the KSTR, the following points must be taken into consideration: the introduction of thermal shields between the reactor and the adjacent walls of the reactor hall, insertion of biological shields between the radiation source and the irradiation rooms, dispersion of radioactive gases from the chimney, cladding of radioactive fission products, and the treatment of solid and liquid radioactive wastes. The first two points are discussed. (tr-auth)
