The energy distribution of epithermal and fast neutrons is characterized by the ratio of activities for the irradiation positions in the uranium zone and the graphite reflector. The neutron flux per energy interval was determined for certain assumptions. For the energy interval, where measurements are not possible either with resonance or threshold detectors, interpolation was carried out according to the calculated distribution in the reactor core. For positions in the core and the graphite reflector the extrapolation of the resonance flux and the fast flux up to 0.5 Mev coincided within the margins of error. In the graphite element not adjoining the uranium zone, the effect of the graphite on the epithermal neutron flux was so great that the extrapolation of the measured resonance flux according to the calculated variation for graphite showed better agreement with the extrapolated fast flux.
