A contribution to the course of luminescence of pure and doped AgCl crystals

Some new measurements of the luminescence of pure and doped AgCl crystals are dealt with and evaluated, in particular the shift of the blue-green emission band as a function of the doped ion and the temperature shift of this band. The concentration of luminescence center in pure AgCl crystals and the creation of x-ray luminescence in AgCl crystals at room temperature are briefly discussed. (auth)
