LINKED GRAPH EXPANSION FOR THE LOGARITHM OF THE NORM OF MANY-BODY WAVE FUNCTIONS

A general method is developed whereby the logarithm of the norm of many- body wave-functions is explicitly expressed in terms of cluster integrals. It is found that some concepts introduced by Lee and Yang in quantum statistics have a counterpart in the theory, leading to considerable simplifications. (auth)
