This package consists of 3 drawings and 1 photograph. The low-level beta system utilizes the multipurpose electronics unit with the shield and counter unit. Background radiation is reduced by massive shielding and anticoincidence cancellation. The anticoincidence or guard counter is a flat multiple anode sandwich counter. Several different types of simple geiger counters are provided. The system is used for natural radiocarbon dating, high dilution isotope tracer studies, and fallout measurement. (F.E.S.)
