PRODUCTION OF EXCITED K-MESONS ON COMPLEX NUCLEI

The missing mass spectrum determined by e processes con particles from the reaction ceramic materia /sup -/ + N ons in pyrolyti e processes con + K + n ceramic materia , where n = 0wwas investigated by exposing freon and xenon bubble chambers to a 2.8 Bev/c ceramic materia /sup -/ beam. In addition to the maximum at 0.88 Bev, corresponding to K*, reiatively narrow peaks were observed at 1.09, 1.2, and 1.26 Bev, while a wider group was observed at about 1 Bev. (D.C.W.)
