THE CONVERSION ELECTRON SPECTRA OF Tc$sup 95$* AND Tc$sup 9$$sup 6$ (in Russian)

Tc/sup 95/(T/sub 1/2/ = 60 d.) and Tc/sup 96/(T/sub 1/2/ = 4.3 d.) were sepa rated radiochemically from a molybdenum foil irradiated with 13.6-Mev deuterons. The conversion electron spectrum of Tc/sup 95/ was determined, and compared with the data of Unik and Rasmussen in Phys. Rev. 115: 1687(1959). The relative intensities and possible multipolarities are given for the following transitions of Tc/sup 95/: the 204.2, 256, 583.9, decay scheme for Tc/sup 95/ is presented. With the use of an alpha /sub K/ = 1.25 x 10/sup -3/ for 779 kev transition of Tc/sup 96/, the interna l conversion coefficients were determined for the 318, 812.2, 852.5, and 1128 kev transitions in Tc/sup 96/. The internal conversion coefficients, and possible multipolarities of the transitions in Tc/sup 96/ are tabulated. A decay scheme for Tc/sup 96/ could not be presented, because the conversion electron spectrum above 1128 kev was not determined. (TTT)
