MEASUREMENT OF THE g-FACTOR OF THE 247 kev STATE IN Cd$sup 111$ WITH THE DIFFERENTIAL METHOD

The gyromagnetic ratio of the 247 kev state in Cd/sup 111/ was measured using the differential method. This was achieved by analyzing coincidences between the 172 and 247-kev rays in the decay of In/sup 111/ with a time to pulse height converter. The result for the magnetic moment after correction for diamagnetism is -(0.794 surface proces 0.0045) nm. (C.E.S.)
