THE $sup 23$Na(d,p)$sup 24$Na REACTION AND THE NUCLEAR STRUCTURE OF $sup 24$Na

The level scheme of Na/sup 24/ up to about 7 Mev has been studied with the Na/sup 23/(d,p)Na/sup 24/ reaction. Several new levels have been observed. A few discrepancies in energy assignment to levels exist between these and earlier experiments. The angular distributions have been analyzed with the DWBA analysis. A BBA analysis checks well with earlier results. Spectroscopic data have been obtained for many of the levels. (auth)
