Solubility isotherms of SmCl/sub 3/-KCl- H/sub 2/O and YCl/sub 3/-KClH/ sub 2/O were studied at 25 and 50 deg C. It was found that the examined system can be described as an uncomplicated single-eutectoid diagram. (R.V.J.)
