This report describes the nuclear characteristics of the initial core loading for the power plant of the Carolinas Virginia Nuclear Power Associates, Inc. These include core reactivity, control rod worths and power distributions, and reactivity coefficients. In addition to operating characteristics, parameters for the cold and hot zero power cores are obtained for comparison with startup experiment data. (auth)
