A Fast Response Oscilloscope with Four Independent Channels; UN OSCILLOGRAFO RAPIDO A QUATTRO TRACCE INDIPENDENTI

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4659476

An oscilloscope for pulses having a rise time of some nanoseconds is described. It has two independent time-base genenators and a cathode-ray tube with four electmon guns. The greatest sweep mate is 7.5 nsec/cm. The accelerating potential may be 10 or 20 kv, and the vertical deflection factor is 19 v/cm and 37 v/cm, respectively. Inside, there are four Hewlett & Packard amplifiers type 460B, which may be inserted in the circuit of Y plates. With the amplifiers the sensitivity is about four times as great. The oscilloscope is provided with an amplitude-calibrated pulse genemator, a calibrator for the sweep units, and megulated power supplies. (auth)
