THE REACTIONS Li$sup 6$(d,p)Li$sup 7$ AND Li$sup 6$(d,$alpha$$)$$alpha$ AT DEUTERON ENERGIES OF 3 TO 5 Mev (in German)

ABS>The reactions Li/sup 6/(d,p)Li/sup 7/ to the ground state, the first excited state at 0.478 Mev, and the second excited state at 4.63 Mev in Li/sup 7/ were studied at deuteron energies between 3.4 and 5.2 Mev. Reduced widths were obtained for the first two reactions. The transition to the 4.63-Mev level in Li/ sup 7/ showed no stripping behavior as was to be expected if this level is the 7/ 2/sup -/ member of the F/sup 22/ doublet in Li/sup 7/. In additio n the Li/sup 6/ (d, alpha ) alpha reaction was studied in the same energy interval. A 2/sup +/- level in BeB was found at an excitation energy of 25 Mev in BeB. (auth)
