A method is described for obtaining high resolution F19 and Xe129 magnetic double resonance spectrum of XeOF4. The F19 spectrum was observed with a standard highresolution spectrometer operating at fixed frequencies of 56.442 and 15.000 Mc. Double resonance experiments were carried out by observing the fluorine resonances at 56.442 Mc while injecting a variable tickling frequency in the vicinity of 18.7 Mc across the transmitter coil of the spectrometer probe. The tickling field was obtained initially from a modified radiotransmitter driven at 8.35 Mc either by a signal generator or by a variable- frequency r-f unit.
