Journal Article · · Aerztliche Forschung (West Germany) Discontinued
OSTI ID:4656319
Various types of technique and apparatus employing television with portable image-amplifier x-ray devices for use in fluoroscopy and radiology are described, and their advantages, especially in reducing the radiation dose to the patient and operators, are discussed. By use of the described procedures, combined with the wearing of a lead apron, it was possible to reduce the operator's gonadal dose from 2 mr to 0.08 mr during a 1-min fluoroscopic examination.
